HOME OF THE BEAVER DAM HIGH SCHOOL TRAP TEAM

The Beaver Dam High School Trap Team is composed of students from the Beaver Dam area. The team participates in clay target events throughout Wisconsin and the Midwest. Shooters range from 5th-12th grade. The team holds practice twice-weekly and participates in tournaments against trap teams statewide. The team competes in the Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP). The Beaver Dam Trap Team will not only have the opportunity to participate state wide but will also travel to the SCTP Nationals.

The Beaver Dam Conservationists host the Beaver Dam Trap Team and have donated the use of their facility to the youth of the community and supports the program. Safety is the first rule in any shooting activity and the shooters are taught general gun safety rules before being allowed to carry a firearm. All of our volunteer coaches are NRA/ATA Certified and have dedicated many hours to help the development of our youth shooters.
